eve of the final holiday of the holy trinity according to me

tis christmas eve...almost the last of the great celebration of the holy trinity of holidays, halloween, thanksgiving and christmas in case you were wondering.  i have sipped my last 1/4 pump peppermint, 1 pump mocha, whole milk triple shot latte with 1 1/2 equals. i have viewed the last of my little town christmas lights, the award goes to the guy who's winter wonderland had a soap bubble snow machine, kudos. packages are all wrapped.  no tree this year, my folks weren't feeling well.  but the christmas quan yen looks nice with the poinsettia.  as i write, i enjoy the christmas music of the 40's.  and i ponder the coming new year.  i hope this holiday brings you much joy and laughter, may kindness flow like a good wine.  may all at your table arrive and depart safely at their destinations.  and to those serving our country, my many thanks.  and to all of you, my beloved family and friends, a good night.

the days of thanksgiving....

ah...it's raining now but thursday and friday were amazingly clear and beautiful. thursday started with an amazing breakfast and macy's parade viewing with the village peeps at chez matthew.  amazing pear/walnut brie en croute, lip smacking apple cider...and lashings of bacon. afternoon shifted to the homefront, where mothra, dadzilla and i dined on the usual menu items. later that evening the village peeps came for dessert and strolls down memory lane of camping experiences (shudder, camping is no room service to me0.  friday, loaded up the parentals and journied south to temecula and the froggy bottom boys.  amazing food, bruschetta from the out door bread oven, clam dip (wouldn't be a family gathering wthout it), julio brought live crabs for dinner and cherie provided her divine lemon meringue pie. manic with boys and the beautiful boccia girls, then away to home.

i hope you and yours enjoyed a truely golden time together, i know i did and am looking to the last of the high holy days of the trinity...peace.
